Mitsubishi Electric Europe’s new range of Industrial Modular Din Rail Components

Mitsubishi Electric Europe offer a complete range of Industrial Grade High Performance Modular Din Rail Components MDRC. The introduction of this range of products provides a solution to our customers for protection and control of their electrical power circuits at Final Circuit level. With the advent of large critical power demands for IT loads as well as more renewable power sources being introduced at micro-generation level, the demand for higher performance protective devices and control elements at sub-distribution levels is clear. Our MDRC ranges are designed to meet these challenges and to help our customers to design systems using our standard product ranges that provide protection to both personnel and assets.

    MCB: Miniature Circuit Breakers

    Mitsubishi Electric Europe offer a range of MCBs that take clear account of these requirements. Our standard Industrial range of MCB are available in B, C & D curve with current ranges from 0,5A up to 63A. The short circuit breaking capacity of the standard range is excellent for sub-distribution with Icu of up to15kA according to EN60947-2. This range also has certification to EN60898.

    MCB-T: Miniature Circuit Breakers with Trip Units

    MCB-T is a range of Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB) designed for industrial applications with a high breaking capacity of 25kA. It supports current ratings from 6A to 40A and is available with B, C, and D tripping curves for different levels of protection against overloads and short circuits. These MCBs are engineered for robust performance, ensuring reliable electrical safety in industrial environments where higher breaking capacity is required. Ideal for circuits with varying inrush currents, the MCB-T range is highly durable and efficient in protecting electrical systems.

    HMCB: High-Performance Miniature Circuit Breakers

    The HMCB series features High-Performance Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB) designed for industrial applications with a compact 27mm module. Offering a high breaking capacity of 25kA, these breakers are suited for current ratings from 40A to 125A and come with B, C, and D tripping curves for tailored protection against overloads and short circuits. Built for heavy-duty environments, the HMCB range ensures reliable performance and enhanced electrical safety in circuits with varying inrush currents, making it ideal for high-demand industrial applications requiring a robust and space-efficient solution.

    RCD: Residual Current Devices

    Our standard range of Residual Current Circuit Breakers RCD are type A sensitivity devices with 30mA setting. These are available from 25A to 125A in 2pole and 4pole versions. They are ideal for protecting against earth leakage faults. We also have available type B sensitivity devices for DC loads. We can also supply in 100mA and 300mA versions. Our RCD devices are certified to EN61008-1.

    RCBO: Residual Current Breakers with Overcurrent Protection

    Our Standard range of Residual Current Circuit Breaker combined with Overcurrent Protection is our RCBO range. These match our standard MCB range and are available in 1N version with Icu of 15kA according to EN60947-2. They are also certified to EN61009-1. Available in B,C and D curve from 6-40A. There is a 3N version in 4modules in C curve. We also have an electronic Voltage Dependent range for the BS market available RCBOE.

    AFDD: Arc Fault Detection Devices

    Our Standard range of Arc Fault Detection Devices AFDD provide protection against series and parallel earth faults as well as having standard RCBO protection. These are recommended for buildings where there are living quarters included and are a key asset in prevention of electrical fires. These are available in 2-pole 3 module B or C curve type A sensitivity devices.

    SPD: Surge Protection Devices

    We offer a range of Surge Protection Devices for both Type1/2 protection for Main Incoming sections where there is a lightning protection system and also Type 2 protection for 8/20 microsecond waveform surges.

    Modular Isolators

    Compact and versatile devices designed to safely isolate electrical circuits from the power source. Ideal for use in modular electrical systems, they provide reliable switch-off capabilities for maintenance and safety. Easy to install on DIN rails and available in various configurations to suit different applications.

    These compact and versatile contactors are ideal for use in modular electrical systems and can handle a range of loads
